So the first blogpost, what can I say?
To start I would like to thank everyone that has shown such amazing support and interest.
The first sets of components has been ordered, these are for pedals such as dist, overdrive, crunch etc.
for both bass and guitar. When they arrive i will have a workshop with some of the musicians i know to create a soundprofile as baseline. This is to ensure that "our" sound is as great as we can make it, for our liking. From there it will be quite easy to modify tone if/when someone wants this customized.
We are at the same time working on a fully new type of pedal, that we can not seem to find at any reseller so far. The blueprints (CAD) are done for the casing. We know what stuff to put into it, but we are working on the programming as of right now. This turned out to be a bit more complicated than previously expected, but we are making great progress.
This pedal will erase the need to use computers for backingtracks, playbacks or playalongs.
Just put whatever soundtracks you want on a flashdrive (USB), plug it into the pedal and plug the pedal into a PA via XLR, headphones or tele out. There are countless ways this can benefit musicians of all types. Please note that the picture is a concept, and not fully existant yet.
While we are a small family company, many people has reached out and offered help and collaborations, something that helps immensely. Our gratefulness will never cease.
We have a couple more ideas to get going, but as of right now we need to focus on a couple of steps at a time. I invite everyone to join us along this journey, and hope you are as excited as we are.
